About Us

The Kittery Point Ikenobo Chapter is celebrating, in 2024, its Diamond Jubilee Anniversary and is recognized for bringing Japanese floral art to the New England seacoast for the past 45 years.

Discover Ikenobo: the oldest School of Ikebana

Ikebana is one of the representative aspects of Japanese traditional culture, It began with Ikenobo in the 15th century at the Rokkakudo Temple in Kyoto

LOCATION

The Kittery Point Ikenobo chapter meets on selected Fridays from 9:30 to the noon hour, April through mid-October, at the Durham Public Library in Durham, NH. Workshops include learning arrangement styles, Japanese vocabulary and cultural traditions. See Events page for schedule
